Long Haul Trucking Shines at Truck Shows
It’s no secret that first class drivers, beautiful trucks and Long Haul Trucking are synonymous with one another. Since our company started, the team at Long Haul has taken pride in having some of the best looking equipment on the road, which is operated by the best drivers in the market. During the month of July this proved true once again as we had 5 drivers win notable awards at a couple of prestigious truck shows around the country, some even winning first place! Congratulations to our first-place finishers, Theresa DeSantis and Dean DeSantis who took home the gold this year as Best In Show at the Shell Rotella Super Rig Competition which is held annually in Albert Lea, MN. Joining them in the winner’s circle is Arlyn Workman as he won first prize in his Working Combo division at the Large Car Top Gun Shootout which was held in Rantoul, IL. Also notable is a second-place finish from owner operator Tony Huttenstine whom also competed in Rantoul, and Brad Beuthien for his 4th place finish at the Shell Rotella Super Rig Competition. We cannot express how happy and honored we feel as an organization to have a fleet of teammates so committed to maintaining beautiful equipment, an elite customer experience and great reputation for safe driving and thank each of our amazing drivers for the contributions they make daily to make us a success.
CVSA Road Check Pays Off for LHT Drivers
Congratulations to our teammates Bob Poquette and Jon Bortree for each earning a $100 gift card as both gentlemen reported clean inspections during the CVSA Roadcheck held in June. There are few items that mean as much to a trucking company as their safety score and we would like to thank both Bob and Jon, along with the rest of our fleet, for the outstanding jobs they do in keeping our company safe daily. As a team that sweats the small stuff, we’ve learned that when it comes to safety, the devil is in the details and by taking the time that is needed to do the little things right we can operate as one of the safest most efficient fleets on the roads! If we had to choose what our favorite place is for our valued drivers to be seated, it’s behind the wheel of one of our beautiful trucks. Which is why it’s critical that as a team we stay on top of all the administrative items required to keep us seated there. Please don’t overlook the importance of staying on top of all matters related to your driving career, including the renewal of your license, and we ask that you don’t leave these matters to the last minute for completion. By understanding the process and supporting documents that are required to renew our licenses, we can stay ahead of the game and on the roads rather than sitting at home waiting for any paperwork or needed items to be processed. Thank you to each of our drivers for the great work you do every day and don’t forget to stay on the ball with updating the documents needed to keep you on the roadways working hard and making money!!
