  • Job Description: The Freight Broker serves as a liaison between shippers and carriers to secure transportation of goods. The Freight Broker manages shipments, matching cargo to carriers using third-party logistics for our clients. In this role, it is your responsibility to arrange shipment transportation, negotiate rates and provide tracking information to clients.
      Responsibilities: Including but not limited to: • Sourcing qualified carriers to haul Long Haul Customer freight. • Research hauling companies. • Building relationships with qualified carriers to haul Long Haul customer freight. • Work to build relationships with customers. • Providing Long Haul customers with an option to have their freight hauled via 3rd party • Maintaining a 10% margin on all loads. • Maintaining constant communication with carriers from the time a load is booked to when it delivers. • Sourcing clients to move freight on via 3rd party (rewarded with sales bonus). • Maintain outside carrier’s equipment online. • Support other Long Haul operations as needed.

    • Qualifications: • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. • Trucking experience. • Must be able to work a flexible schedule. • Ability to practice independent thinking and problem solving without the immediate supervision of managers.
